The power settings in Windows had no effect, no matter what values they were set to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A lot of effort went into troubleshooting the issue \u2013 even a replacement laptop was tried, but guess what? Same issue!<br>Well, long story short \u2013 the problem was caused by a Lenovo feature I didn\u2019t even know existed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The feature is called <strong>\u201cZero Touch Lock\u201d<\/strong>, and it&#8217;s been found enabled by default on multiple devices.
